Biography:
Dr. Yude Su was born and raised in Changchun, Jilin Province. He received his B.Sc. in Chemistry in 2012 at University of Science and Technology of China. Then he obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2017 under the supervision of Prof. Peidong Yang at University of California, Berkeley. During 2018-2021, he was a postdoctoral fellow working with Prof. Guillermo Bazan at University of California, Santa Barbara and National University of Singapore. Since April 2021, Dr. Su has been working as a tenure-track professor at University of Science and Technology of China, Suzhou Institute for Advanced Research. His research group focuses on the design and fabrication of biotic-abiotic hybrid materials, and their applications on electrocatalysis, artificial synthesis, fuel cell and electrochemical energy storage. Dr. Su has co-authored 30 publications in Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Materials, Joule, Advanced Materials, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences USA, Nano Letters, Advanced Functional Materials, Small, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces and etc. In 2021, he was awarded as “Innovators Under 35” by MIT Technology Review.
