Dr. Dongfang Wang obtained his PhD degree in Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics, University of Chinese Science Academy in 2014. From August 2014 to July 2022, he engaged in postdoctoral research at the Technical University of Braunschweig in Germany and Emory University in the United States. In August 2022, he joined the Department of Life Sciences and Medicine of the University of Science and Technology of China and the Suzhou Institute for Advanced Study. The main research directions are DNA nanotechnology and the biomedical applications. The structural properties of the DNA molecule are used to realize different molecular self-assembly methodologies, to construct various complex DNA nanostructures, and to apply them to biomedical research.
