Dr. Zhongpeng Zhu is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Suzhou Institute for Advanced Research, the University of Science and Technology of China. He was born in Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province in February 1991. In 2014, he received his bachelor's degree from Tang Aoqing Honors Program in Science (chemistry), Jilin University. Then he obtained his Ph.D. degree in physical chemistry from the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry of CAS in 2019 under the supervision of Prof. Lei Jiang. From 2019 to 2022, he was engaged in postdoctoral research at the Beihang University. He joined the Suzhou Institute for Advanced Research, the University of Science and Technology of China in August 2022.
His research group focuses on the design and application of bionic superlyophilic materials. As the first author and co-first author, he has published more than 30 papers in academic journals at home and abroad, including 2 papers in the Journal of the American Chemical Society, 1 paper in Angewandte Chemie International Edition, 1 in Advanced Materials, 1 in National Science Review, 1 in Advanced Science, 1 in Acs Material Letter, etc.
