Yang Wei, born in Oct. 1978, is an Associate Professor. In 2007, he obtained his Ph.D. degree from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). From 2008 to 2013, he conducted the postdoctoral research in USTC. His research fields mainly involve information security (secure multi-party computing, cryptography, trusted computing), big data and cloud computing (big data analysis and mining, big data privacy protection, cloud security), and quantum information processing (quantum information, quantum computing, quantum communication). As a principal researcher, he has chaired National Natural Science Foundation of China (Youth Program) and other five national or provincial level programs. He has also, as a major researcher, participated in National Program on Key Basic Research Project (973 Program), National High-tech R&D Program of China (863 Program), and National Natural Science Foundation of China (Major Program).
