Prof. XU Hongli, born in August 1980, graduated from the Department of Computer Science and Technology, University of Science and Technology of China in 2002, and received his PhD degree in Computer Software and Theory in June 2007. In recent years, he has presided over the projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Special Postdoctoral Grant, and Dean's Fund of Chinese Academy of Sciences as the responsible person. As a technical backbone, he has participated in more than ten projects, such as National 973 Project (2), National 863 Project (1), National Science and Technology Major Project (3), National Development and Reform Commission Internet of Things Special Project (1), National Development and Reform Commission CNGI Demonstration Project (2), and CAS Knowledge Innovation Project.
In recent years, he has published a number of papers in IEEE Transaction on Wireless Communications, Journal of Parallel and Distributed Computing, Theoretical Computer Science, Wireless Networks, Computer Communication, International Journal of Sensor Networks, etc., as well as in the conference of ICC, ICCCN, WCNC, IPCCC, etc. He has published more than 50 papers, including nearly 40 SCI and EI papers. He has applied for more than 10 patents, among which 3 have been granted. In wireless network research, he has won many outstanding paper awards in academic conferences at home and abroad. Due to his outstanding achievements in the field of collaborative communication, he is currently the guest editor of the special issue of "Collaborative Communication" in the International Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks.
