YAN Lifeng extended a warm welcome to the UTS delegation and recalled the productive exchanges during his visit to Australia in this August. He expressed his hope that this meeting would build upon existing consensus to further advance specific initiatives, including joint PhD training programs and scientific research collaboration.
YUN Guolin emphasized that UTS is a key partner of USTC in Australia. He noted that since the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding in 2023, bilateral cooperation has progressed steadily, and this meeting presents an opportunity to elevate the partnership to new levels.
Innes Ireland provided an overview of UTS's recent developments and key academic strengths. During the discussion session, both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on joint doctoral training programs and research collaboration.
This meeting marks the second high-level engagement between the two institutions since YAN Lifeng's delegation visited UTS in August, signaling a further deepening of the collaborative relationship between USTC and UTS.
