In order to further strengthen international exchanges and cooperation, and to expand overseas internship channels for students, the Director of SGINNOVATE, Annie Zheng and her team came to the Suzhou Institute for Advanced Research, University of Science and Technology of China (SIAR, USTC) on the morning of 1 April, and the Education and Teaching Department attended this meeting, which was chaired by Ni Rui, Vice Dean of USTC Graduate School and Deputy Dean of SIAR.

Ni Rui welcomed Annie Zheng and her delegation and introduced the construction and development of SIAR. Annie Zheng introduced the operation mode of SGINNOVATE, its key investment areas, the Summation internship program and the basic information on the application process for student internships. Afterwards, the two sides had an in-depth discussion on student internship arrangements, support and guarantee mechanisms, and follow-up cooperation ways, etc., and planned to conduct online seminar in the near future to attract more graduate students to participate in overseas internship programs.
SGINNOVATE, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Ministry of Finance, is an innovation platform established by the Singapore government to focus on the comprehensive development of Singapore's science and technology sector, and to provide a platform for exchange and cooperation between world-renowned universities and Singapore's science and technology enterprises.
