Recently, Professor Zhou Shaohua, Executive Dean of the School of Biomedical Engineering, USTC, and Director of the Center for Medical Imaging, Robotics, Analytic Computing and Learning (MIRACLE) at Suzhou Institute for Advanced Research (SIAR), was invited to serve as an Associate Editor for the international journal npj Digital Medicine, a division of Nature.
npj Digital Medicine is an open access, peer-reviewed journal in the Nature Partner Journals (npj) series from Springer Nature Publishing, focusing on high-quality research at the intersection of digital technology and healthcare. The journal currently has an Impact Factor of 15.2 and is a top journal in Zone 1 of the CAS Division. Key topics published in the journal include: digital health technology, data science and healthcare, telemedicine and health service innovation, patient engagement and health management, and ethics and policy in digital medicine. The journal aims to advance the field of digital healthcare by providing a platform for researchers, clinicians, policy makers and technology developers to share and showcase innovations and guide the transformation of health and healthcare.

Professor Zhou Shaohua is a long-time researcher in medical imaging, intelligent technology and surgical robotics, and a leading figure in the field of digital healthcare in China.
